Interface: VariableFeatureValue
Section titled “Interface: VariableFeatureValue”Defined in: src/types/values.ts:801
A feature bound to a LOGIC VARIABLE, carrying the name the rule author wrote.
Remarks
Section titled “Remarks”A variable and a reference to a stored term are both Value::Reference in
the engine, so both used to arrive as a bare TermRefFeatureValue —
nothing in a rule’s features said that name was bound to ?N rather than
to a term, and the name existed only inside the display prose (#232 §2).
termId is the variable term’s, so two features bound to the same variable
carry the same id. That is how a client reads the coreference which makes
senior(name: ?N) WHEN person(name: ?N) a join rather than two independent
patterns.
