Remarks
Section titled “Remarks”This is not the compliance receipt ledger. client.compliance reads
/api/v1/compliance/audit/*, which the engine writes itself for every
mutating request. This chain lives at /api/v1/audit/entries and the
APPLICATION writes it, entry by entry, for the events it decides are worth
an account. The two stores are separate and neither is derived from the
other.
Each entry carries the previous entry’s hash, so a removed or edited entry breaks the chain and AuditClient.verifyIntegrity says where.
