InterventionDto = { kind: "silence"; target: string; } | { kind: "hold"; level: number; target: string; } | { kind: "cap"; level: number; target: string; }

Defined in: src/types/thomas.ts:174

An intervention on a target, applied after identification.

{ kind: "silence"; target: string; }

kind: "silence"

Hold the target at zero.

target: string

The variable to intervene on.

{ kind: "hold"; level: number; target: string; }

kind: "hold"

Hold the target at a fixed level.

level: number

The level to hold it at.

target: string

The variable to intervene on.

{ kind: "cap"; level: number; target: string; }

kind: "cap"

Bound the target from above.

level: number

The level it may not exceed.

target: string

The variable to intervene on.

Interventions are applied to whatever identification left standing, and they REPLACE the target’s parameters rather than selecting among them. So the network an intervention describes is not one of the admissible parameterisations — it is a different network.
