Thomas regulatory networks — what a gene network can do, over every parameterisation consistent with what was observed.

René Thomas’s formalism models a biological regulatory network as discrete variables that read each other through thresholds. The network’s behaviour is not fixed by the wiring alone: it depends on PARAMETERS the wiring does not determine, and a model usually admits many parameterisations.

The engine’s answer is to identify every parameterisation consistent with the declared properties and then report what holds over all of them at once. That is why an answer here carries a modality rather than a single trajectory: a move is certain when every admissible parameterisation makes it, possible when some do. A caller that reads only the wiring is reading one model out of many.

The model is supplied as SMBioNet/TotemBioNet .smb text, not as a structure — the engine parses it.
