The world assumption a sort makes about its own feature set.
Remarks
Section titled “Remarks”open is the OSF default: a missing feature RESIDUATES — it is
unconstrained, not absent — and an undeclared feature is admitted.
closed demands every required feature, admits only declared features,
and closes negation over the sort. required: true therefore bites only
under closed. Before the JSON surface could declare it, @closed was
reachable only through OSFQL DEFINE, so required was a no-op here with
no way to make it enforce anything.
